HTC’s Viverse Create platform has recently created a no-code virtual world builder. This platform hosts a suite of tools to help creators build virtual worlds at an ease.
The creators can share their interactive world on any device — VR headset, mobile, PC, or Macbook. Their cross-platform, “no install” feature, allows users to enjoy interactive games without needing a gaming console.
The head of growth at HTC Viverse, Andranik Aslayan, said, “Gone are the days of keeping your creations locked in your own virtual world. With Viverse Create, we’re giving creators the tools to create any world and share it with their friends, parents – even their grandparents – to experience with one simple, secure, joinable link.” in a statement.
He added to his statement, saying metaverse isn’t dead.
There are two ways to create a virtual world in Viverse Create. First, you can use a no-code building tool on which users can easily compose virtual worlds with assets and media files. It also integrates seamlessly with the Sketchfab library, allowing users to access millions of free models without any 3D expertise.
Another way is to build with PlayCanvas, an advanced game engine-style building tool with which users can create more interactive worlds in the browser itself. It can be used both no-code and code.
Recently, Vive Create also announced Polygon Streaming, which can help organizations incorporate interactive 3D models into their workflows. These can be available on a range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, or XR headsets.
