At Noble Park, Buyers Can Now Buy Off-Plan Homes With VR

Legal & General Homes has introduced virtual reality to its Noble Park development project in Didcot, Oxfordshire. This new addition is to give home buyers a unique preview of the building’s design and layout, available for purchase.

This virtual preview will allow potential buyers to look through a fully-furnished one and two bedroom apartment, even before they are built. Hence, creating a unique and fresh experience for buyers at a new standard for property buying.

How Does an Apartment Preview Work?

To preview the apartments, the buyers have to wear a VR headset to feel the space, furniture layout and other specifications. It will also allow prospects to visualize the kitchen design, bathroom layout and balcony views.

The prospects can also alter the apartment’s view with the click of a button to suit their needs. For instance, the bedroom can be made as a study room. In addition, all of this can be casted onto a TV screen or iPad for a shared view.

Virtual reality previews also help buyers make off-plan purchase decisions. This also means buyers can choose their finishes for their home’s color palettes and tile choices.

A Customer's Experience..

One customer who bought an apartment off-plan at Noble Park shared her experience saying, “The VR headset provided a more realistic view of the apartment compared to brochure floor plans.”

“Many local developers are selling flats without any physical viewing options, so this technology provided valuable insight into the space and layout,” she added. According to the buyer, the virtual experience also made the exploration fun and memorable.

This new addition of VR also includes a website CGI virtual tour of the one and two-bedroom apartments and a 30-second animation video of the interiors. All of this highlights how amazing of an experience it is to explore un-built homes in virtual reality!
